ARTISTICANIMANGA is not an open membership group, which means that no one is automatically approved as a new member.  While we wish we could have open membership, we've had too many issues where members did not read the group rules and thus have their submissions declined.  So, here are the quick and easy steps on how to join our group:

• You must read all the rules for this group.  We understand that it's quite a bit of information.  But knowing our rules is only beneficial to you.

• Once you have read the rules and are ready to join, click the JOIN THIS GROUP button.


• In your join request, please make sure you have typed this into it:

  "I have read, understood, and agree to follow ArtisticAnimanga's rules."

  You and you alone are responsible for reading and following these rules.  Failure to follow these rules will result in only one warning.  The second infraction will lead to a block from ARTISTICANIMANGA.


• Please be patient and wait for a staff member to review your join request.

It is time for our summer contest to begin!  We let out a little teaser in mentioning earlier that this was going to be a fan art contest, but no other details were given.  As you can tell by the title of this post, it's a Sailor Moon fan art contest with a twist!  Many of our group staff are avid fans of Sailor Moon, so we couldn't resist hosting a contest for this wonderful magical girl anime.

1. Only members of ARTISTICANIMANGA may participate. No watchers, affiliates, or non-members may participate.
2. All contest entries must be made specifically for this contest. This means you cannot submit a deviation that was made before this contest was announced. Your entry must be dated on or after the start date of the contest (May 1st, 2012).
3. You can submit a maximum of two (2) entries, but you can only win once.
4. All entries must have a simple background.
5. All contest entries must have the group icon in the artist's comment area.
6. Please only use minimal watermarks. Please do not splatter text all over your entry, it takes away from the quality of the work. Minimal watermarks means something very small that does not affect the work.
7. Your entry cannot break our group rules. This includes our list of what our group finds not acceptable.
8. For your contest entry to be acceptable as an entry, it must follow the contest theme.
9. All contest entries must be submitted into the Favorites folder labeled "Steampunk Sailor Moon Contest". This is to give everyone a chance at submitting their entry as well as keeping the group galleries rules of standards in place.  (Note: You will not get a correspondence message when you submit your entry.  To see if it was accepted, please wait two days for it to be reviewed and then check the favorites folder.)
10. You can submit your contest entry to the group galleries. However, they will be subject to our standards of quality control.
11. The winners will be submitted into the contest gallery when voting is complete. So if your entry is selected as a winner, please accept the group's request.
12. Please remember that our staff are huge fans of this anime, so please refrain from copying/tracing poses directly.  We know there are trademark poses, but we will obviously know which ones are a copy/trace.

CONTEST THEME

• Contest entries must be a character from the Sailor Moon anime/manga.  They can be the main characters, villains, and even some smaller characters (such as Queen Serenity, ChibiChibi, etc).
• The character(s) you choose must display steampunk styles/characteristics in their designs.
