1. Just to start you off, I just want to congratulate you for being #ArtisticAnimanga's Deviation of the Year 2011.
Thanks for the honour! Now that I look at it again, I could've done better on some areas, but cheers

2. So why don't you give a brief description of yourself? You don't have to be very specific.
I'm just a 25y/o guy with a thing for mecha/details. I've been drawing since maybe primary school, and I've only learned photoshop and 3D when I went for my uni, so kinda late learner haha.

3. Not in the more artsy part of the interview yet. Do you have any hobbies other than art?
Well, other hobby... sports, I follow soccer and some other sports, but mainly soccer. I'm also quite an enthusiast in tech, military and also gaming, and do a bit of photography

4. So what are your anime obsessions right now?
My anime obsession... well, not really obsessed as I don't really have time to watch anime lately, and my thing is more on sci-fi anime, but I usually follow discussions on forum that I lurk on just to know what's going on Latest anime that I watched is Ika Musume, and some Crayon Shin-chan movies haha

5. So which would you say are your most favorite anime of all time?
Hmm there are some of them that really influence me, such as Patlabor and Ghost in the shell, but overall, currently it's Planetes. I just loved it!

6. Do you plan on pursuing art in your career, have a different plan, or already have a career in art?
Well, I'm already working as a 3D model/texture artist right now, so I guess I'm already in art field, tho I can't say I'm a pro yet. In a way I'm a bit lucky that I got the chance to learn more and work at the same time so I'm thankful for that. All I can say is, when you see a chance, you gotta take it! I'm still learning myself

7. I've noticed that you pay great attention to details in your artwork. What got you interested in doing that?
I've always liked mecha/military stuff, so naturally I'd try to draw details and stuff to them. I'm not sure when exactly, but one time I found Imperial Boy's works and I was blown away by their details. I guess finding him kinda made me realize my own love for details.

8. What are your most favorite subjects to draw?
Mostly females, scifi, and slice of life scenery stuff. Females because tbh I like their curves more than the male's body haha Scifi because I like the mecha and futuristic tech thingies, and slice of life because I like peaceful things and people doing ordinary things on ordinary days, maybe on extraordinary settings

9. What are your favorite traditional mediums?
My trusted 2B mechanical pencil!

10. What are your favorite digital programs?
Photoshop for 2D, maya and zbrush for 3D

11. Do you prefer traditional or digital?
I don't really have a preference really, they're just a medium for art. When I can't use a computer I use my drawing books, and when I'm in front of a computer, I use photoshop I guess. Anyway, sometimes I use pencil, for example, when I want a more rough look/feel, and some other times, digital. Sometimes, both

12. How would you define your style?
Hmm I can sorta see my own style now, but I think I'm still finding my style so I can't really explain it haha, for now I guess it's attention to detail

13. Do you have any last words?
Umm.. stay away from internet (especially 9gag) if you wanna be productive!
